The Advanced Diploma is designed for those who either have a limited working knowledge of the industry or do not want to take the full professional qualifying examinations necessary for membership of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers but do want to expand their understanding of the shipping industry.
Students need to pass 2 exams for this internationally recognised certificate, one of which must be Shipping Business. The second subject can be selected from the Group 2 subjects shown below.
Having passed the Advanced Diploma students should consider increasing their knowledge base by studying a further five subjects. Having passed these, the student qualifies to apply for membership of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
