Coracle has partnered with Halcyon Recruitment, experts in international shore-based shipping recruitment, to launch a wide-ranging employee survey. The online survey poses simple-to-answer questions about your relationship with the ICS, your feelings about the employment market in the current climate, training choices available to you, and what to take into account when considering a career move.
We’ve had a fantastic response with over 500 responses within the first 12 hours of opening the survey, but we’d like to here from you all! And to reward your efforts we will enter all participants into a draw to win an iPod touch. Make sure you complete the survey by April 30 to be eligible for the draw. So that the industry benefits from our findings, we will distribute the results to a wide range of companies from major international shipping giants to smaller boutique organisations, as well as industry bodies, key players and interested parties throughout the global shipping industry. Please be assured that participants details will be kept in strict confidence.
New student guidelines have been released by the ICS to make sure students are ready for the April examinations. Offering essential advice on revision, exam preparations, and support options available, this guide is a ’must-read’ for students readying themselves for the exams in a few weeks’ time.

Talking of preparation, how better to boost your revision for the exams than through a specially designed online seminar, or webinar? You don’t need to leave your desk, as the webinar is delivered interactively online.
