English is the international language of shipping; it is the language of business and all Coracle courses are conducted in English. Where we provide courses leading to examination, the exams require written answers, in English.
Coracle offers you the opportunity to study English as a Foreign Language. You can take an English course from your own home or office and interact live over the internet with your teacher and your classmates. Our classes are held in private chatrooms and can be audio and/or video enabled.

You can attend classes online from your home, office, or anywhere with a computer and internet access: you can study how, when and where you want without giving up the benefits of live classes.
In classes of max 5 students, each student receives a great deal of the teacher’s time and attention. Lessons and class discussions can then cater to the specific needs and interests of each student. Our small classes allow you to gain the most from interaction with classmates without compromising the focused attention of our instructors. We will do our best to group you with students of similar goals and abilities. Whoever your classmates may be, you can be sure that you will learn from one another as well as from our imaginative teachers.
Our teachers are professional and enthusiastic; they have extensive experience teaching students from all over the world and from all walks of life. They have taught at universities and embassies, for governments and companies, and in private tutorials. Each is fluent in at least one language apart from English, and most have experience teaching abroad.
We believe that because you are paying for the courses, you should help decide what is being taught. You can choose from a variety of classes or help design your own syllabus by telling us what you wish to focus on during the seven week program.
Each class session will be automatically transcribed for the benefit of both you and your teacher. This will make it possible for our teachers to not only give you valuable feedback during classes, but also to prepare future lessons that concentrate on areas that need strengthening. Every week you will receive personalized, detailed written feedback, based on your teacher’s evaluation of these transcripts.
Class schedules will be determined by your availability. Each class will meet in chatrooms only you, your teacher, and your 4 classmates can enter. When you register for a course, we will give you an identification code that will allow you to enter your classroom. During classes, you will learn through live interaction with your classmates and a dedicated, sympathetic teacher. Your teacher will facilitate discussions, offer guidance and monitor your language production.
Each EFL course is designed individually to meet your needs. After you have completed the registration form and answered our questionnaire, you will be grouped with several other students who share your interests and abilities. Classes will never be larger than 5 students. Your teacher will then create a unique course to serve you and your classmates. The class schedule will be determined by your availability.
Once the course has been designed and the class time has been set, you will receive via e-mail instructions for getting to your online classroom. During class, your teacher will lead discussions, offer guidance, monitor your language production, and give focused assignments. There will also be several homework assignments to be done either individually or as a group. Your instructor will give you regular progress reports. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a final evaluation and a Diploma certificate.
