Carly Fields is a specialist maritime consultant, providing marketing, editing, journalism, copy writing, public relations, and lecturing services to a number of blue-chip maritime companies. She is currently the editor of Port Strategy magazine, and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers member magazine, the Shipping Network, and is a former special reports editor for Lloyds List newspaper. Having graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1998 with a first class BSc Maritime Studies degree, Carly became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in 2003.
